The Team
We’re a family-founded team of keen sailors and adventurers, united by a shared experience of circumnavigating the globe. We bring together our varied perspectives and professional expertise—from design and development to finance and innovation—to build a business shaped by curiosity, collaboration, and a spirit of adventure.
Brian Norton​
Brian (he/him) brings a wealth of experience across management consulting, property development, major infrastructure delivery, and start-up investment. With a foundation in Quantity Surveying, he has held senior roles in both private and listed companies, and his core expertise lies in capital investment and development.
After a two-year circumnavigation with his family (2009–2011), Brian returned to found a successful UK residential development company. A passionate adventurer, he’s a keen sailor and skier who continues to embrace new challenges—on land and at sea.
Sheila Norton​
Sheila (she/her) has over 20 years experience in the healthcare sector, having worked as a midwife and a Nursing Officer in the British Army (QARANC) in the UK, the Middle East and the USA. In 2012, she pursued her passion for sewing, textiles and colour by studying interior design. Since then, Sheila has worked for private clients and builders on a range of challenging projects, managing both concept and execution. Alongside her creative pursuits, Sheila is a keen wakeboarder and can be found at the lake even in the middle of winter!
Charlie Norton ​
Charlie (they/them) graduated in 2018 with a degree in English Literature from Durham University, where they combined their studies with a passion for writing, contributing to several publications and organising large-scale cultural events and exhibitions. After graduating in 2019, Charlie moved to Seville, Spain, working as a translator for a tech start-up. They later returned to the UK to complete an art course at the prestigious City & Guilds of London Art School. This was followed by a move to Vancouver, Canada, where Charlie founded a sober arts events company. Now back in the UK, Charlie is pursuing a master’s degree in Speech and Language Therapy. Outside of their studies and creative work, they’re an avid endurance runner, regularly competing in ultra-distance trail marathons.
Frederick Norton​
Frederick (he/him) graduated in 2020 with a degree in Materials Science from the University of Manchester. He has led multiple materials technology projects, including Nanocomb, an award-winning advanced graphene technology start-up and is Level 5 accredited in Management and Leadership from the Chartered Management Institute. Following his studies, he spent time developing investment stategies for commercial investment within Avid and has since become a commissioned officer in the military. A dedicated sportsman, Frederick takes on ultra-endurance events, practices martial arts, and competes in obstacle races. He’s also an enthusiastic paragliding pilot and skier.
Annabelle Norton​
Annie (she/her) graduated in 2024 with an MA in Business with Marketing from the University of Edinburgh. Alongside her studies she has been responsible for the administrative running of the business, as well as project acquisition and delivery. Taking up her directorship in 2025, she plays a key role in financial decision-making and accounting. Developing her investment expertise further, she is currently working as an Associate Wealth Manager and is working towards becoming an Associate of the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment. Outside of work, she enjoys wakeboarding, netball, touch rugby, and a range of adventurous pursuits.
